After a successful launch at the end of 2019 we are kicking things off in style for our first event of the new decade. We have invited two of our favourite selectors from the last decade to take over the booth at Mick’s Garage for a night of explorative and forward-thinking house music.

We are pleased to announce our first guest, Space Dimension Controller Aka MR 8040 from the planet Mikrosector-50. Space Dimension Controller’s evocative storytelling production heavily influenced by electro-funk, 80s pop, acid house, sci-fi ambient and astral disco that is both cerebral yet propulsive. Having released critically acclaimed albums on Ninja Tune and R&S, his latest release ‘Love Beyond the Intersect’ is a hyper-personal reflection that drew from Space Dimension Controller's personal relationships while battling sobriety, which resulted in his most mature and emotionally expressive work yet.

When SDC takes over in the booth his selection has something for the dreamers as well as the 9-to-5ers who want to be transported on the dance floor, taking the crowd on a journey through all his influences in a smooth fashion, with tempos rising as he shifts through the 80s, disco, acid tech, IDM and house classics.

Our second act, Holly Lester, is one of the hottest up and coming names in the game. Having held down a residency at one of the nation’s favourite parties, Warehouse Project, while sharing the booth with the likes of Mall Grab, Dusky, DJ Seinfeld, Haii, Paranoid London and Simian Mobile Disco this year alone, it’s safe to say that there are big things to come from Holly over the course of this decade.
